Content & Safety Policy

What is allowed on Wimbook, how stories and pictures are made, and how we keep it safe.

The short version

  • Wimbook is for readers 13 and older. Every story follows PG-13 rules.
  • Stories and pictures are AI-generated fiction. The characters are invented.
  • We do not allow real people, sexual content, or anything that sexualizes minors.
  • Everything you type is checked automatically. Stories you share publicly get a stricter check first.
  • You can report any book or shared story. We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules.

About this policy

Wimbook is the service at www.wimbook.com. This policy applies to every book, chapter, picture and story on Wimbook, including the ones you create and share. It works together with our Terms of Service.

Who Wimbook is for

Wimbook is for readers 13 and older. Readers under 18 should use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly allow children under 13.

Content rules

Stories here read like a PG-13 film.

  • Romance is slow burn, with no more than kisses. Every character in a romance is an adult.
  • No sexual content, and nothing that sexualizes minors, in any form.
  • Violence stays off the page. No graphic gore, torture or cruelty for its own sake.
  • No hate or harassment. No hateful content or bullying aimed at people or groups, and no threats.
  • No encouragement of self-harm, and no instructions for self-harm, weapons, violence or crime.
  • No personal information about other people.
  • No fan fiction. Do not base a story on characters, worlds or titles owned by others (no fan fiction of books, films, games or shows).
  • No spam or ads in titles, descriptions or story text.

No real people

You may not name or depict real people in your moves or in stories you create. That includes living or historical public figures and private individuals. Characters on Wimbook are invented, and any resemblance to a real person is a coincidence.

There are no photo or face uploads in Wimbook, and none are accepted. Pictures are generated from text descriptions of invented characters. We do not make pictures that copy a real person's likeness, and we do not imitate anyone's voice.

How pictures are made

  • Readers do not write picture prompts. Our code builds each prompt from a short passage of the chapter you have already read, the book's art style and the looks of its invented characters.
  • Every prompt carries the same limits: adults only, PG-13 (no nudity, no gore), and invented characters with no resemblance to real people or celebrities.
  • The image provider runs its own safety checks and refuses pictures that break its rules. A refused picture is not shown.

AI-generated content

Stories and pictures on Wimbook are made with artificial intelligence. They are works of fiction. People, places and events in them are invented. The pictures show invented characters, not real people. AI can make mistakes or turns that feel off; if something looks wrong or breaks these rules, tell us.

How we moderate

  • Writer rules. Every book's AI writer works from instructions that keep it PG-13: adults only in any romance, no more than kisses, violence off the page, no real people. If a move asks for more, the scene stops at a kiss or is interrupted, and the story goes on.
  • Every typed move and every "Create my story" field is checked automatically before anything is written. If it breaks the rules, we decline it, or write a PG-13 version of the move instead, and nothing is generated from the original.
  • Books you create are checked again: the card written from your idea and its Chapter I opening go through the same automatic check before they are saved.
  • Every generated chapter passes an automated safety check before it is kept. Each scene written as you read goes through the same check once it is finished. If it fails, we throw it away and write it again with stricter rules. If it fails a second time, it is not kept, and you can try again or choose another way. If the check is briefly down, the scene is kept and logged, and reports catch what it misses.
  • Public sharing is opt-in. Your stories are private unless you share them. Before a story appears publicly, an automated check reads its title, description, cover description and the whole of Chapter I. This check is stricter than the one for private use. If the check cannot run, the story is not published.
  • Reporting. Anyone can use "Report" on a book or a shared story. You choose a reason (not PG-13, hateful or bullying, a young person in a romance, a real person, copies someone else's work, spam, or something else) and can add a note.
  • Reported stories are hidden automatically after several reports and then reviewed by us.
  • Our response. We may remove content, stop a story, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Serious or repeated breaches lead to a permanent ban.

Automated checks are not perfect. That is why reports matter.

Report a problem

Use "Report" on the page of the book or shared story, or write to hi@wimbook.com with the title and what is wrong. If you think we removed something by mistake, write to the same address and we will take another look.

Rights holders. If you believe a story on Wimbook copies your work, write to hi@wimbook.com with a link to the story and the work it copies. We review every notice and take down content that infringes.
